PA Man ID'd In Fatal Bethlehem Township Crash: Coroner

The 67-year-old man killed in a Northampton County crash Sunday, Oct. 20 has been identified, the county coroner said.

Kevin L. Ward, of Easton, died in the two-vehicle crash that happened at the intersection of Freemansburg Avenue and 7th Street in Bethlehem Township, the Northampton County Coroner's Office said, according to 69 News

Daily Voice reached out to the coroner's office for confirmation but hasn't heard back at the time of publication.

The cause of death was "Multiple Blunt Force Injuries," and the manner of death was "Accident," 69 News said.

A 24-year-old Nazareth man was driving the second vehicle involved in the crash, as previously reported by Daily Voice. He was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.

Police determined that the Jetta was driving west on Freemansburg Avenue while the Passat was going south on 7th Street. The roadway was closed for approximately seven hours while the crash was investigated.

The crash remains under investigation.
